  1. Wildcard option for URL parameters

    Allow wildcards to be used for URL parameters.

    If you're unsure what exact URL param will be fired for an operation or it's dynamically changing, allowing a * as a wildcard option for either the entire parametized URL or certain parts would be very helpful.

  2. OAuth2

    When mocking up a prototype API half the pain is getting the authentication working. It would be really good if you could support OAuth2. We could create test users to authenticate against for the API,and test the various auth scenarios (expiry, refresh etc).

    In the meantime a workaround is to just send an OAuth token in the headers and check for it.

  3. Parameters in resource paths

    Is there any way to do template/resource parameters (I'm not sure what their actually called)

    These parameters appear in resource paths such as:

  4. Mock request in addition to response

    It would be nice if we could enter some example request data into each mock as well as a response. Mockable could check the request and if it doesn't match it could return an error code.

    That way , we can check that our app is sending the expected request, as well as dealing with the mock response appropriately.

  5. Support for Request Headers

    Support for correct request headers is very important to test all cases for a rest client. For eg, Authorization headers are used extensively to grant access to rest clients. Provisions should be made such that if such headers are missing, we can return custom error types

  6. Mock Not Found when creating SOAP mocks

    Hello - I can get nothing but "Mock Not Found" when creating a SOAP mock. I am following the directions in Chapter 3 of the Packt book "Implementing Oracle Integration Cloud Service" - when I send a request to Oracle ICS I see a "not found error" and if I click on the generated URL I also see "Mock not found."

  7. Mockable should use response examples in Swagger imports

    Right now when I import a Swagger definition, the response body in Mockable.io always gets set to {"msg": "Hello World!"} regardless of what I define as the response example in Swagger. Mockable.io should be able to extract that information and include it in that specific request.

    Here's an example of a path with examples:
    paths:
    /api/sessions:
    post:
    produces:
    - "application/json"
    responses:
    "200":
    examples:
    application/json: { "id": 38 }

  10. Other than REST

    The idea of very good. Thanks guys !
    However : 2 things to say:
    1- Where is the API / Syntax to write/custom the reponse.
    2- Is there possibility to load a WSDL for SOAP based WS ?

  13. Allow users to log in without facebook / google / stackoverflow

    I don't like that I can't have some mocks behind an account with my email address. Definitely would be worth paying for the service with that.

    If I make some mocks, and then log out... I can never get them back? Not cool. What if I wanted to give someone the login info so they could look at the mocks I set up?

  14. dynamic headers

    While static response headers are supported, being able to add dynamic response headers (such as location) based on query parameters, etc would be great

  16. 404 response in JSON

    While testing an app, if we try making a call to an invalid mock (which results in 404 page) we get the response in html. Since API calls don't deal in html it would make more sense to get the http_sc (i.e. 404 not found) in json. This way the json parsers being used don't start throwing out errors.
