When mocking up a prototype API half the pain is getting the authentication working. It would be really good if you could support OAuth2. We could create test users to authenticate against for the API,and test the various auth scenarios (expiry, refresh etc).
In the meantime a workaround is to just send an OAuth token in the headers and check for it.36 votes
It would be nice if we could enter some example request data into each mock as well as a response. Mockable could check the request and if it doesn't match it could return an error code.
That way , we can check that our app is sending the expected request, as well as dealing with the mock response appropriately.29 votes
The idea of very good. Thanks guys !
However : 2 things to say:
1- Where is the API / Syntax to write/custom the reponse.
2- Is there possibility to load a WSDL for SOAP based WS ?

I don't like that I can't have some mocks behind an account with my email address. Definitely would be worth paying for the service with that.
If I make some mocks, and then log out... I can never get them back? Not cool. What if I wanted to give someone the login info so they could look at the mocks I set up?11 votes
Allow forwarding some requests to external APIs. Maybe even forward anything that's not caught automatically?9 votes
Some times need to certify clients or in regulated industries will need to receive the log files to keep them for later4 votes
In the meantime, it possible to download the log using the Administration API.
for mobile development we often use charles to see request and response.
this all information will be available can we import directly?4 votes
Quickly Build Up Documentation with a Support Forum: Is there also a support forum or just UserVoice for "ideas"?
I get how to do a "GET" but I'm not clear how to setup and try the SoapAction part which I would love to demonstrate and then use. So I'm looking for a forum where people can discuss their discoveries and the team can provide useful answers.4 votes
Allow to have multiple responses per mock. A different dispatch can be selected (like in SoapUI):
SEQUENCE, RANDOM, SCRIPT-BASED4 votes
Capture requests made by my app to the space and save them as mocks.4 votes
I'd like to be able to mock file download (or display if files are images) and upload.4 votes
Interesting idea. Is a simple file sharing service would fit your use case?
it would be helpful to be able to delete all old requests
Import sessions from a Fiddler Proxy. Same sort of concept as import from Charles proxy. The sessions have all of the URL GET/POST variables and the server responses (Json, XML, etc.). It would be great to be able to import multiple of them at once, as a nice starting point for Mocking a set of API calls1 vote
